Mystery Hangout #4

Mystery Hangout #4 : Mr. Riedl vs. Mrs. Schey

At this moment, we are preparing to log on. And...we're in! We are having technical difficutlies with the microphone, so this may take a while. *sigh* Okay, let's begin! We only have a half an hour to find their state, city, school district, and school. Our first spokesperson, Marin, asks if they are east of the Mississippi River, and they are. They then ask if we are on the east coast, and of course, we're not. We already know they are in New York because of a reliable source I won't mention. We soon find from Emily (our second spokesperson) that they are in the eastern timezone. Technical problems don't allow me to give the last question they asked, but we asked if their state is two words, which it is. They soon discover that our state name is NOT two words. We have now verified that they are in fact in New York. Now for the city. They now know we don't touch Canada thanks to their most recent question. Then they find that we are not in California, and that our state does begin with a vowel. Now, they know that we are in Oregon. We now know that they are NOT north of Syracuse. They now know that we are in the northern part of Oregon. Sorry, this is a little dry, I know. Anyway, they are not in Albany. Now they know we're in Portland. We have asked if they are in Midtown, which they seem to be hesitant about. Very suspicious...very. Okay, they are not in Midtown. We asked if they are near The Statue of Liberty, which they said "yes" to. They are in the upper east side of Ney York City. Yay! That batle is won, but the war isn't over yet. We fight on! (Sorry for being so dramatic, but like I said, this is REALLY dry...) They asked if we were in Beach School, which we aren't; and they are in a public school. They now know that we are not in a public school. They are on 66th street. They asked if we go to Cedar Hill, and no, no we don't. *sigh* They go to P.S. 183 Robert Lewis Stevenson! Well, time is up, so we won; but some unnamed beings did some unnamed things accidentaly, so it's now entirely fair. We are sharing facts about our state and they are doing the same. Disconnecting...and the hangout is officially over.
