Below is an example of what I am looking for in regards to the Character/Setting paragraph outline in the Book Report Packet. The purpose of the outline is to pick key words that will eventually be used to write the sentences in the paragraph.
A. The Topic Sentence tells the reader what will be explained in the paragraph (in this case, characters and setting).
B. The Supporting Sentence #1 will be a general sentence about the characters.
C. The E Sentence(s) will provide examples or evidence that explains more about the characters.
D. The Supporting Sentence #2 will be a general sentence about the setting.
E. The E Sentence(s) will provide examples or evidence that explains more about the setting.
F. The Conclusion Sentence is just reminding the reader of the Topic Sentence.
